[APPEAL-API] Video Presentation on Smoke-free Housing Strategies in Asian American Communities in NYC

NYC Smoke-Free has made a video available on smoke-free housing strategies in New York City. In the presentations, partners from the NYC coalition, including Asian Americans for Equality (AAFE), the Community Service Society of New York, and the New York Public Interest Research Group (NYPIRG) share information about their work towards smoke-free housing policies.

AAFE’s Douglas Le’s presentation on smoke-free housing strategies implemented by AAFE in two of its non-profit housing units starts at 16:40.
Information from the presentation is also documented in AAFE’s report, “Making Room to Breathe: A Case Study of Smoke-Free Housing in NYC,” which outlines two case studies from AAFE’s work in Asian American communities. AAFE implemented a smoke-free policy in a newly refurbished, unoccupied building and voluntary policies in a building protected by rent stabilization laws.
